178 mm zirconia sanding discs with centre hole, for the edge sander. The aggressive zirconia grit works quickly along edges, skirting boards, stairs and in corners. Available from grit 40 for the coarse work to grit 120 for the finish.

Which grit?
Coarse, 24 to 60: removing old layers and sanding flat.
Medium, 80 and 100: intermediate sanding.

Why zirconia?
Zirconia grain is sharp, tough and aggressive and keeps cutting for a long time. Strong for coarse work and intermediate sanding, with a keen price-quality ratio. For a longer service life and a clean sanding finish there is also ceramic.
Which grit should I choose?
Coarse (24 to 60) for removing old layers and levelling, medium (80 and 100) for intermediate sanding and fine (120) for the finish. Do not skip more than one grit step when moving up. More in our sanding advice.
